Non-Profit Organizations in the Rio Grande Valley

Updated: Feb 24, 2019

The RGV is the home of countless non-profit organizations. These groups contribute to bettering the community by, for example, providing services and items for the underprivileged, fighting for justice for victims of abuse, assisting the elderly, conserving wildlife, and being the voice of disenfranchised groups--but this is only scratching the surface of the many ways that local nonprofit organizations work to build a healthy Rio Grande Valley. Contributing to the RGV is important because not only does it strengthen the community by alleviating struggles, but it also creates a community of socially aware people.
